Four Partners

Fi.Solutions has four highly experienced partners, whose expertise and competence are truly complementary.

Jean-Marc Petit

Senior partner, Registered public accountant

Jean-Marc Petit, a graduate of the ICN, after initial experience as an auditor with Deloitte quickly went into private practice.

In 1981, he founded GMP with two partners. The firm developed a French and international client base offering a full range of integrated traditional services: accounting, payroll and company secretarial assistance.

In 1999, the firm joined the In Extenso network of accounting firms, part of the Deloitte group. During this period, the firm consolidated its expertise in dealing with international clients and extended its array of services to include the outsourcing of the accounting function of larger groups and assistance with the implementation of IT solutions and Management reporting and information systems.

In May 2008 Jean-Marc took his firm out of the Deloitte network and founded Fi.Solutions. He heads up business development and personally oversees a number of consulting and auditing assignments undertaken for the firm's French and international clients.


Muriel Le Gal

Partner

Muriel Le Gal, graduate of HEC, began her career in London with Morgan Stanley International. She then moved to the Financial Department of Total, mainly in the Chemicals Division. In 2003, she joined In Extenso Paris. Muriel Le Gal is in charge of bookkeeping assistance and accounting outsourcing services for both French and international clients of all sizes and in many fields of activity.

She also supervises the consolidation of financial statements and internal control assignments.


Catherine Faraut

Partner

Catherine Faraut, 42, a Registered public accountant has spent her entire career with various public accounting firms in Paris.

She joined In Extenso Paris in October 2001 as Manager in charge of a portfolio of clients. Catherine Faraut supervises bookkeeping and accounting assistance engagements for French and international clients and has developed services aimed at France's important not-for-profit sector.

She also pilots out-of-the-ordinary accounting assistance assignments in the context of IT migrations and the implementaion of Sarbanes Oxley standards.



Jörg Schumacher

Partner

Jörg Schumacher , Expert-comptable/Commissaire aux comptes in France and Wirtschaftsprüfer / Steuerberater in Germany, has joined us in May 2009 to take over the responsibility for our German Desk. One of the few CAs to hold the dual qualification enabling him to practise under French and German law, he has several years of experience in assisting German firms operating in France. He has also advised numerous French investors looking to invest in Germany. In addition to his Franco-German expertise, he specializes in statutory and contractual audits.

Jörg is available to answer any queries relating to chartered accounting and auditing in a Franco-German context.
